GROUPS

We arrange routes and timings based on the below criteria. Use these as a guide to the right group for you, based on your ability or what sort of run you wish to join. We encourage runners to move up and down groups as their fitness allows. Run Leaders and Coaches will always ensure that runners are not left behind

Run groups are broken down into different groups depending on the approximate distance that each group will cover during an 1 hour session.

  •  5-6km, 6-7km, 7-8km - these groups are for athletes who are capable of running for 1 hour with some breaks (walking and stationary) and will focus on essential skills and technique and building a base level of running fitness.

  •  8-9km, 9-10.5km - these groups are for athletes who are capable of running continuously for 1 hour.

  • 10.5km+ - this group is for experienced athletles capable of running in excess of 10.5km in 1 hour.
