Richard has asked me to remind runners about the protocol if they become unwell, or get injured during a training run. If any member feels that they have to pull out of the group for any reason, then they must let the coach know. The coach or leader will then offer to find someone in the group to return with the runner back to their car or home as appropriate and if you are unwell, you should accept this offer just in case things get worse. This will allow the rest of the group to continue with their training session happy in the knowledge that you are being looked after. Please don't try to be a 'hero' or feel that you are a burden - these incidents can happen to any one of us at any time but it is the club's aim to get back the same number or runners after a run as set out at the beginning!
